Sooooo, this post is coming about 4 months late and I started it about 3-1/2 months ago...so just go with it and pretend it's November again :)
What a crazy few weeks this has been...OMG
Things started off super normal. My last week of my 20s...
So the week started off as usual with my weekly Monday visit to the grocery store and the rest of the day hanging in with the kiddos. The rest of the week was spent in boot camp, getting my hair and nails done, hanging out with friends, a night out with Eric, and music class with the kids and a trial at The Little Gym with Cynthia and Grayson! :)

Friday (Halloween) was spent at home all day getting things ready for the busy night ahead. We were heading over to the Naber's house to do some trick or treating with the kids and have dinner, that was followed by a quick trip home to put kids down for bed and then get ourselves ready for my birthday partay!! What a night! We went to Zeta Bar where all my friends were waiting for a semi-surprise birthday party for the big 3-0 for me. Eric planned the whole amazing thing and had an awesome cake made. My amazing friends also pitched in and got me a beautiful Tiffany necklace...I am one lucky lady to be surrounded by such great friends! Such a fun night partying and dancing the night away with friends!!

Saturday night we attended a BabyBQ for some friends who were expecting, since it was the day after Halloween it was a costume party of course. Sunday was a lovely lunch at KGB with the Palins and that night Eric took me and the kids to dinner for my birthday since he had to leave Monday (my actual birthday) for China :(

Finally, it's my birthday, Monday, November 3rd...The BIG 3-0!! Eric had to leave for China that morning, so I had a full day and night booked with my friends to help me celebrate and keep me busy, as I said earlier, I'm a lucky lady :) I met my friend Natalie for coffee, then I picked up Cynthia and headed to the mall for some lunch and shopping, then we met up with Chantal for some relaxing foot massages! That night Lydia and the other girls came over to keep my company. I had so much fun eating, drinking and hanging out with these lovely ladies!!! What a BIRTHDAY!!
So, I thought what a great week, Eric did a great job putting everything together and making me feel special....well, Thursday night after my birthday I was woken up in the middle of the night with another surprise...

Rachael is here, what?!?! |
OMG...Eric did it again! He surprised me by flying my dear friend Rachael out to freaking KL to surprise me. She actually jumped in bed with me at like 2am and scared the crap out me! On top of that, the next day (Friday) we were all heading to Port Dickson with a bunch of friends to continue my birthday celebration for the weekend!! Way too much fun and again, thank you to everyone who made the trip down to Port Dickson!!
The rest of the week once we got back from Port Dickson was busy and a lot of fun! First day we had Cynthia's gender reveal party, a high tea at KLCC...where we found out she was having baby boy #2 :) Rachael also got to try a Vietnamese coffee, yummy!!
Tuesday and Wednesday were spent at Batu Caves, getting foot massages, having nice lunches out, dinner in town with Eric, and Rachael even tried the fish spa :)
Woohoo! It's Thursday and Rachael and I are heading to Phuket, Thailand!! We had two days, so we made the absolute most of it! We left the house at 4:50am to catch our super early flight out. Once we arrived at our hotel we booked a driver and took off. Our first day was spent touring temples, something I haven't done in Phuket before, so that was nice. Our driver took us to several temples, the Big Buddha, bought us an ice cream cone because it was scorching hot, and took us to an awesome spot for lunch with an amazing view. Came back to the hotel, cleaned up, went to dinner, and then bed...lame I know, but it was a long day!

Friday was spent relaxing at the beach until checkout and then we headed into town to check it out and grab some lunch and walk around until we had to catch our flight home...amazing couple days in Phuket with an amazing lady!
Saturday we took Rachael to see the monkeys, out for lunch at a Vietnamese place and then had friends over for dinner and hung in. Sunday we took Rachael to Central Market, China Town, lunch and then Rachael took a few family pics for us (what a lady!). Monday Rachael got to swim with the kiddos, then we went to the Islamic Arts Museum, and then high tea at Carcosa Seri Negara. That night Eric and I took Rachael to the Helipad Bar for the amazing views of KL, dinner at Passage Thru India and of course Sky Bar at the Traders Hotel...then Tuesday Rachael left :*(

Turning 30 wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Actually, I had been fine with the impending birthday until about a week before the big day. But, with my amazing husband and amazing friends I really couldn't have even dreamed of anything better than I got. I am so fortunate to have all these people in my life. I love you all! Thank you again for everything and making my 30th Birthday, the BEST.BIRTHDAY.EVER.
